Hi! My name is Dodie Ellenbogen, and after a few summers of working on all different sorts of farms, I find myself here in PEC growing non-certified organic veggies on a small scale, in a bio-intensive manner. Iā€™m a mother, wife, and daughter in our multi-generational farm home, so life is busy and fulfilling as I nurture my family, my veggies, our land, and myself! I am in a constant battle with ignorance as I try to become more wise about how to farm and become embedded in the life systems in which we all exist. I feel the immense responsibility to be a steward of the land for my child, others children, animals, plants, and insects and to try to re-indigenize our communities. In order to do that I try to read as much as I can, and I often have help from my partner Michel, who likes to focus on technologies that will create efficiencies and sustainable loops in our farming practices. We hope to bring you affordable veggies through these endeavors as our way of making a living while achieving these goals.
